I participated in a soil panel discussion for Wild Ones!

Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of participating in a public Q&A session hosted by Wild Ones, where we dug into all things soil—what it is, why it matters, and how it connects to everything from food systems to climate change.

The audience asked fantastic questions, and I had the opportunity to talk about topics like soil structure, composting, erosion, and the tiny but mighty organisms that call soil home. My goal was to make soil science approachable and practical for anyone who wants to understand the ground beneath their feet—whether you're a gardener, a student, or just soil-curious.

Thanks again to Wild Ones, Ozark Chapter for inviting me to nerd out in public. It was a blast!
